About Unity Harbour

Why We Exist

Pregnant-capable people—especially those facing high-risk pregnancies—deserve a place where they are safe, supported, and free from judgment.

Across the country, obstetric unit closures are leaving communities without critical care. In places like Bonner County, Idaho, the loss of obstetric services has continued to harm families long after the doors closed. Vulnerable people are being left without options.

Our shelter exists to provide care where services are being stripped away.

Safety, dignity, and bodily autonomy are not optional — they are core to our mission.

We support access to healthcare, housing, and basic human dignity while actively building a long-term solution through our Freedom Village cooperative site with SkyStone Vale. Learn more at: skystonevale.org/moffat

We have directly assisted individuals with life-saving abortion care, gender-affirming care (HRT), emergency housing, transportation, food, and other critical, life-changing support for people in crisis.

Our Hope

Unity Harbour, founded in Oregon with our physical location in Moffat, CO, provides inclusive support for individuals impacted by anti-LGBTQIA+ laws, abortion restrictions, homelessness, systemic oppression, and domestic abuse. We are hoping to build a transitional shelter rooted in compassion, dignity, and empowerment.

“There are no words that can accurately convey how much this organization means to me. These guys have been there for me in some of the scariest, most difficult moments, and saved me from losing housing. They later went on to help pay for my healthcare, including HRT.

If you’re looking for a group that understands and validates you while helping the way you need help—not denigrating or judging, and definitely not making you feel guilty for needing help—then look no further than Unity Harbour.”
