Our New 501c4 Partner

Community Forge

 "

Welcome to Community Forge, a mutual aid network built for those who refuse to stand by while their neighbors suffer. The reality is harsh: our communities are under attack, essential services are being gutted, and millions are struggling just to survive. Community Forge is here to fight back—with direct action, collective care, and radical generosity. If you're not signing up to receive help, we need you to give help. There's no in-between." SkyStone Vale LLC

A Shared Vision for Lasting Impact

Angela Archer and Carmen Broesder came together with a shared vision: to create sustainable, community-oriented solutions that meet people where they are.

From that vision, SkyStone Vale LLC was born — a for-profit social enterprise built with minimal overhead and a maximum focus on compassion, purpose, and long-term impact.

Together with its nonprofit partner, Unity Harbour, SkyStone Vale helps build pathways toward stability, healing, and opportunity — proving that mission-driven business and community care can thrive side by side.

As of October 1, 2025, Carmen Broesder has officially stepped down from Unity Harbour to continue her work through SkyStone Vale LLC, focusing on sustainable land-based development and strategic partnerships that carry forward the original mission of Unity Harbour in new, resilient ways.

ADA & Accessibility Advisory

As someone who is openly autistic, I communicate in ways that prioritize clarity, structure, and written documentation. This approach is both a personal preference and a protected form of ADA accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. §12101 et seq.).

Because autism can affect communication processing and interpretation, I often rely on written correspondence (such as email or text) to ensure accuracy, accountability, and mutual understanding. This is not a limitation—it’s an intentional method to foster transparency, consistency, and fairness in all interactions.

I ask colleagues, partners, and community members to respect that:

  • I may document conversations or decisions in writing for ADA compliance and organizational integrity.

  • I may require additional time to process verbal information, particularly during complex discussions or meetings.

  • Written summaries, clear timelines, and structured communication formats are greatly appreciated and help prevent miscommunication.

  • Tone or emotion may appear different in written form; this is never intended as disrespect or disengagement.

Unity Harbour and its affiliated organizations are committed to inclusion and accessibility. Respecting diverse communication styles—including neurodivergent communication—is part of that commitment.

If you need to discuss accessibility, please reach out directly in writing so we can ensure any interaction remains safe, clear, and compliant for all parties.

With gratitude,
Carmen Broesder
